Kolari Vision

Dear Kolari vision, I wanted to say thank you for giving me the most creative tool I have ever used in my life. I am a traveling Cultural Resource Management (CRM) archaeologist and have used it as my visual companion for well over a three months now and the images never cease to amaze me. Landscapes and narrative portraits I’ve taken with the full spectrum camera has brought a whole new level of storytelling I never knew possible! I am a fan and will continue to support your products!

Kolari provides service above and beyond what is expected. Little services tell the story of over all care and quality. I was amazed to discover that Kolari not only tracked the progress of my camera on its return trip, they have in place a system to notify me when my camera would actually arrive at my door. I was even more please to see they had packaged a nice camera strap with camera. My initial images represent a quality introduction to infrared photography. Infrared photography was something that I became interested in to keep photography interesting during the pandemic. I learned that Kolari Vision did camera conversions for IR and also sold lens filters. Since then, I have had a couple of cameras converted into full spectrum for astrophotography by Kolari Vision, and I have purchased their IR filters (including the IR Chrome one). Their work is top notch and I've enjoyed going out shooting with my full spectrum camera and the end product that I get while editing my photos. They also are impressive with customer service. When I have reached out to Kolari Vision with questions, they're super helpful when they respond, and they also have impressive response time. The processing time on the full spectrum conversion on the cameras was also on time. I can say that I've enjoyed doing business with them for my infrared photography needs, and would highly recommend them to everyone else! I've definitely made sure to give them credit when I post infrared photos on Instagram.

Fantastic quality products. I ordered a converted Sony a7S iii and a full set of rear filters, and the results are immediately spectacular. Please do note that summer is their busy season, so consider preparing your order with adequate lead time. However, even though they were busy, they tried their best and accommodated to my needs, and I was very satisfied with how things were finished and delivered. If you're considering IR of full-spectrum work, then Kolari is an automatic 'yes' in my mind. Thank you, team Kolari Vision!

Having my Canon 50d Converted to a 720nm internal filter as changed everything about shooting Infrared photography! Before with having an Ir 850nm filter on the end of my camera lens it was all about doing long time exposures on a tripod with all shots taken with nearly 15min. for each shot, It felt like I was at the laundry-mat again doing my wash, not to mention the time it took to setup for each shot and wait. Then you have to add more time for post processing. "B O R I N G" Long day with only a few good images. After having my Canon 50d converted I drove to the historic Belle Fountain Park. located in North County, St.Louis Mo. At the top of the hill sets the remnants of the first military fort west of the Mississippi River and was one of first stops made by Lewis & Clark along with their crew on the tail Westward two the pacific. Then the area was bought by the city of St.Louis and opened the first Mo boys home. Then the days of the 1930s depression set in. The boys where struggling. So President Roosevelt signed into action the W.P.A. Program for all the boys. And the Grand Staircase was built with the boys labor force. And now the area has become a well known Park. I shot over 70 Ir images with my converted Canon 50d 720nm By Kolari Vision in just over 1.5 hrs plus all the walking. Enclosed are a few shot taken that were all hand held. plus two samples of some art work that I enjoy making with other IR Images taken!
